Oak – Might
This highlight the access to the portals of power. With a knowledge that took to time to reach, this is a chance that must not be abused. Don’t be intimidated by the awe of the occasion or the situation. This is what you have been groomed for. Take any bureaucracy in your stride, use any hold ups to reassess your strategy. The mind is clear and logical, the wit is sharp. This is a double edged sword; morality and responsibility. Remember; "Handsome is as handsome does."
From the medieval times the Oak literally became the fabric of society. The timber created the structure of many of the houses churches and civic buildings. It was also the chosen wood for the navy of Henry VIII and later, Lord Nelson. It is a wood for all seasons.
In mythology the Oak is the King of the Woodland. He is the natural tribal leader who, in legend, rises in the spring to lead and sacrifices himself in the winter of life.
